Anaphylaxis / Auto Injector

Our Anaphylaxis course focuses on the prevention, recognition and treatment of Anaphylaxis, including the use of auto-injectors and CPR.

The course is ideally suited as an add-on to our Paediatric and First Aid at Work courses but can also be presented In-House on a stand-alone basis.

About the course

Our Anaphylaxis / Auto Injector Course covers the following subjects:

One hour course

This course includes:
  • Managing an emergency and developing a care plan
  • Allergy Avoidance
  • Early Recognition of Anaphylaxis
  • Anaphylactic Shock Awareness
  • Management of Anaphylactic Shock
  • Anaphylaxis video presentation
  • Practical session using Epi Pen, Ana Pen & JEXT Pen training devices
  • Resuscitation (CPR) and Recovery Position

Duration: Approx 1 hour when completed as an add-on. A 3 hour In-House Anaphylaxis course is also available and can be tailored to specific requirements

Certificate:   Certificates are valid for 3 years but we recommend topping up your skills annually via our on-line Refresher Course

Where can I do it?:  This course is available at your place of work or at one of our open training venues
