Covid-19

We continue to deliver face-to-face COVID-safe First Aid Training Courses at our 100 UK training centres and on-site at our client's premises.

  • Our training centres will be large enough to continue social distancing
  • Our trainers are expected to wear a visor during course delivery and a mask during the assessment. Learners are asked (unless exempt) to wear a mask when entering and moving around the venue
  • As per the RESUS Council guidance for paediatric first aid training learners must demonstrate rescue breaths. Learners will be given their own thoroughly cleaned manikin for use during the practical assessment
  • To keep everyone safe we ask that all learners complete an at-home lateral flow test prior to attending the training

First Aid at Work Requalification - Blended 6hrs practical training + 6hrs eLearning

This is a requalification course and is only suitable for those who currently hold an in date FAW certificate. If your certificate has expired you are still able to attend this course, but the HSE recommends you attend the First Aid at Work (3 day course) if more than a month has elapsed since expiry. Please call us on 0300 3020 999 for further guidance.

Please note that the requalification course is an intensive course with very little practice time and designed for people whose certificate is still in date. If you do decide to attend the requalification course you will need to work at the pace of the course.

Candidates need a basic command of English (defined as Level 2). While we are often able to provide support to people who do not have English as a first language, our ability to do so is limited by the time available and the number of people who require assistance. We may be able to make special arrangements if requested in advance. Please contact us if you need any guidance.

Fit for Training: As work-based training, you will be assessed in all areas of content to meet the certification requirements. The CPR/AED assessment requires learners to kneel on the floor next to the casualty. Please ensure that you can physically fulfil these practical requirements.

Make sure to bring photo ID - our trainer will request sight of this for certification purposes.
