This course gives you a secure understanding of your responsibilities as a practitioner working or volunteering with children & young people (aged 5 to 18 years). It briefs you on how to recognise the signs and symptoms of child abuse and neglect and shows how to follow correct procedures whilst keeping the child at the centre of your concern and practice.
The course is designed to meet the needs of learners and employers and can be studied flexibly in one sitting or bite-sized chunks, in the workplace or at home.

Our e-certificates are valid certification and accepted by all governing bodies and accreditations centres. Your e-certificate will have a unique QR Code that can be validated and verified via our website.
This course is available at our open training venues across the UK.
We also deliver this course at your place of work anywhere in the UK. Depending on your risk assessment, or if you are in sole charge of children and on the compulsory Ofsted register, you may need to take our Full Paediatric First Aid course.
