EYFS Framework Update - Blended First Aid Meets Full Guidance

We are delighted that the Department of Education continues to recognise Blended First Aid in the New EYFS Framework that comes into effect on the 1st September 2021 and you can be guaranteed that Tigerlily meets the full guidance.
Our Blended Full Paediatric Course covers all elements of the Emergency Paediatric Course during the trainer-led practical day and our eLearning module contains only the additional content required to gain the Full Paediatric First Aid Qualification.

Youth Mental Health Champion1 day practical training

Our Youth Mental Health Champion Course is available either at your place of work on a day of your choosing, or at any of our training venues across the UK.

The course will equip you with the necessary skills to recognise signs of mental ill health, an understanding of common mental health issues, and knowledge of how to support positive wellbeing.

This course is ideal for anyone working with young people, as well as individuals who wish to have a better understanding of youth mental health issues, and how to help.

About the course

Our one day course qualifies you as a Youth MHFA Champion, giving you:

  • An understanding of common mental health issues and how they can affect young people
  • Ability to spot signs of mental ill health in young people and guide them to a place of support
  • Knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness
  • Skills to support positive wellbeing
  • Why Youth MHFA Champion?

  • The Mental Health First Aid action plan

You will receive a certificate of attendance to say you are a Youth Mental Health Champion, a Youth MHFA manual to refer to whenever you need it, and a workbook including some helpful tools to support your own mental health.

Duration:

Duration: One Day of Practical Youth Mental Health Champion Training – 6 Hours.

If you are booking an in-house course, you are free to choose the Start / Finish times for the training.

We recommend starting at approx. 9:00am as this will enable the course to finish at 16:30

Certificates:

Certificate: On completion of the course you will receive an MHFA accredited certificate.
