PACEY Safeguarding Course

If you work with children, you have a responsibility to help to protect them.

Children are vulnerable and rely on adults to help them to feel safe and secure. As an early years and childcare practitioner you have a responsibility to ensure that children are cared for in a safe and stimulating environment.

The PACEY safeguarding course has been designed to help you fulfil these requirements and ensure you have the confidence to recognise, respond and refer if you should have any concerns. The course content has been reviewed by CACHE and has their full endorsement.

The content covers;

  • Your duty of care and how it links to regulation
  • Different types of abuse and how to recognise the signs
  • What actions to take if needed
  • Policies and procedures you will follow, whether you work alone or in a group setting

For just £19.99, or free to PACEY members, you get the opportunity to watch video clips, download resources and reflect on your practice. The information, extra information links and activities provided are designed to offer practical ideas to promote further thinking about safeguarding children.

"Just to say a thank you to PACEY. I completed the safeguarding training yesterday. I can honestly say it's a great way to do it, lots of info, links to read. Took me about three hours but did it in two parts as you can log in and log out when it's convenient for you."
