Emergency First Aid at Work 1 day practical training

This course is ideally suited to lower-risk workplaces where a risk assessment has identified the need for staff to possess appropriate first aid skills and knowledge.

Our 6-hour course is presented either at our training centres or for group bookings at your workplace. The course is delivered under the guidance of our specialist First Aid at Work trainers and uses the latest training techniques to maximise learner recall and confidence.

This course can be combined with Anaphylaxis and Asthma for Schools, Colleges and Universities

Your risk assessment will highlight which course is suitable for your business. The EFAW course is typically for low-risk environments such as offices and shops and for businesses who already have first aiders trained in the three day First Aid at Work.

Costs:

At your place of work: Our costs vary depending on the number of learners on a course - please call us for a competitive quote
At our training centres: £135 per person

Please note that as a not for profit company we do not charge VAT

Duration:

This course provides 6 hours of trainer led practical training excluding breaks as per the HSE guidelines.  At our training centres, our courses run from 9.30 am through to 16.45 for training at your place of work we can deliver this training at times to suit you and your staff.

Certificates:

As part of our environmental policy, all certificates will be available as a link and PDF download on completion. Our e-certificates are valid certification and accepted by all governing bodies and accreditations centres. Your e-certificate will have a unique QR Code that can be validated and verified via our website.

For our EFAW and FAW courses certificates are also available as credit card style certificates for use in a lanyard or wallet

Your certificate is valid for three years and meets the full HSE criteria
