Course Overview: Our Full Paediatric First Aid Course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to emergencies involving infants and young children. This comprehensive course meets the requirements of the EYFS statutory framework, ensuring you are fully prepared to handle various situations with confidence.
Course Structure:
- Blended Learning: The course combines 6 hours of online interactive pre-learning with 6 hours of practical, hands-on training. This flexible approach allows you to complete the online modules at your own pace before attending the face-to-face session.
- Certification: Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate valid for 3 years. This course and certification meets the EYFS/OFSTED/HSE guidance 2025
The Full Paediatric First Aid Course is suitable for a wide range of individuals who work with or care for infants and young children. Specifically, it is ideal for:
- Childcare Professionals: Nursery staff, pre-school workers, and childminders who need to meet EYFS statutory requirements.

About the course
Course Structure:
- Online Learning: Complete 6 hours of interactive pre-learning modules at your own pace. These modules cover essential first-aid knowledge and scenarios.
- Practical Training: Attend a 6-hour face-to-face session where you will practice and refine your skills under the guidance of experienced trainers.
Learners will need to ensure they hold a level 2 qualification or equivalent in English language and can kneel on the floor to perform CPR and Recovery. Unfortunately, as this is work-based training, we cannot allow training room access to any persons under the age of 16 years.

At our training centres: £95 plus VAT per person outside the M25 and £105 plus VAT for London and inside the M25.
Duration:
This course is delivered as blended learning. Therefore, all learners must complete pre-at-home eLearning before attending the practical training day.

Location: Available at your place of work or various locations across the UK
Certificates:
We aim to provide e-copy certifications within 48 hours of course completion. Hardcopy and Credit Card certificates will be sent within three working days of qualification. Please note that our e-certificates are valid certifications all governing bodies and accreditation centres accept. Your e-certificate will have a unique QR Code that our website can validate and verify.
Our certificates and course comply with both the HSE and Ofsted guidance 2025
This course is available at our open training venues across the UK or as a private course at your place of work.
We also deliver all of our courses at your place of work anywhere in the UK.
Essential information:
Clothing: Please wear loose-fitting trousers, leggings, or jeans. We advise against wearing a skirt or anything short that may make you uncomfortable during practical assessments.
Under 16 years: As work-based training, we do not permit persons under 16 years into the training room.
Fit for Training: As work-based training, you will be assessed in all areas of content to meet the certification requirements. The CPR/AED assessment requires learners to kneel on the floor next to the casualty. Please ensure that you can physically fulfil these practical requirements.
You will need a charged smartphone for QR code registration and to access the end-of-course multiple-choice questions. Please also bring a photo ID for verification.
Lunch: We suggest that all learners arrive with lunch and refreshments for the day as we cannot guarantee there will be facilities to purchase refreshments at the venue.
Parking: Available at most venues outside of Central London. It is the learner's responsibility to check any parking restrictions at the venue before leaving their car.
Timings: You must arrive at least 15 minutes before the course starts. Learners who do not arrive on time may be turned away from the training day and must pay in full to re-book.
