Level 3 Safeguarding (DSL) – Infants & Children (Early Years)

Our 1-Day Level 3 Safeguarding Designated Lead (DSL) – Infants & Children (Early Years) course is specifically designed for senior practitioners, managers, deputies and safeguarding leads responsible for overseeing safeguarding practice within nurseries, pre-schools, childminders, out-of-school clubs and early years settings caring for children from birth to 8 years.

This advanced programme equips delegates with the knowledge, confidence and procedural understanding required to lead safeguarding effectively in line with:

  • EYFS Statutory Framework (current version)

  • Working Together to Safeguard Children

  • Keeping Children Safe in Education (where applicable)

  • Local Safeguarding Partnership arrangements

  • Prevent Duty expectations for early years providers

  • DSLs and Deputy DSLs

  • Senior Practitioners with safeguarding oversight
