Policies
Access Arrangements allow learners with special education needs, disabilities, or temporary injuries to attend our courses and to access and complete assessments without changing the demands and integrity of assessment. For example, readers, scribes and braille question papers. In this way, Tigerlily Training will comply with the duty of the Equality Act 2010 to make Reasonable Adjustments. However, an adjustment may not be considered reasonable if it involves unreasonable costs or timeframes or impacts on the wellbeing of the learners or others or affects the integrity of assessment. There is no duty on Tigerlily Training to adjust the assessment objectives and any minimum standards must be met. For example during CPR assessment during a first aid qualification, a learner can practice with the manikin on a table BUT they must be able to kneel on the floor unaided to demonstrate CPR for a minimum of 2 minutes as per the qualification specification.
