Supervising First Aid for Mental Health(2 day practical RQF 3)

Our Supervising First Aid for Mental Health Course is available either at your place of work over 2 days of your choosing, or at any of our training venues across the UK.

The course will equip you with the necessary skills to understand and recognise signs of mental ill health, the confidence to support and reassure a person in distress, and the knowledge to help someone recover their health by guiding them to further support.

About the course

Our two day course qualifies you as a Supervising First Aider for Mental Health, giving you:

  • A thorough understanding of mental health and mental illness
  • How to provide advice and support for a person presenting a mental health condition
  • How to recognise a range of mental health conditions
  • The first aid for mental health action plan and how to utilise it
  • The impact of substance abuse on mental health

At your place of work: Our costs vary depending on the number of learners on a course - please call us for a competitive quote
At our training centres: £185 per person

Duration:

Two Days of Practical Supervising First Aid for Mental Health Training – 6 Hours each day.

If you are booking an in-house course, you are free to choose the Start / Finish times for the training. We recommend starting at approx. 9:00am as this will enable the course to finish at 16:30

Certificates:

On completion of the course you will receive an FAA Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (Level 3 RQF) accredited certificate .
