Safer Feeding & Choking First Aid Training 18th October 2024

18 October 2024
 at
19:00

Tigerlily Training has partnered with The Oliver Steeper Foundation to provide a FREE Essential Two-Hour Course. This course is available to all nursery staff across the UK. The training will be delivered virtually via Zoom with our leading First Aid Training; the course will focus on Safe Feeding Practices and how to give First Aid Treatment to a Choking Infant or Child and answer any questions you may have

While many nursery educators hold a current first aid certificate, this course will provide additional knowledge and refresh current skills. Unfortunately, the training will not be certificated because we cannot assess a learner's skills during this course.

The Oliver Steeper Foundation

“Since the death of our son Oliver, who sadly died in a nursery in Kent in September 2021 after choking on pasta we knew we had to create a legacy for Oliver to prevent other parents from having to live through the nightmare we have endured. The Oliver Steeper Foundation was created mid 2023 with the aims of providing a lifesaving information, of safer feeding, into all registered early years childcare settings.  We miss his beautiful little face, his cheeky little laugh, and the joy he brought to our lives in his short time on this planet.” Lewis Steeper (Oli's Dad)
